The City Council of Ribamontán al Mar is moving to the municipality of Getxo to hold the final Good Practices Meeting within the framework of the “Surfing Towns Network” project.
Next Friday, June 6th, the third and final meeting for the transfer of good practices within the Surfing Towns Network project will take place. This is an initiative promoted by the City Council of Ribamontán al Mar, which has already held three editions: the first took place in the City Council of Valdoviño (Galicia), the second edition was held at home, in Somo, and this final edition will be hosted by the City Council of Getxo.
The chosen venue for this Meeting is the Getxo Itsas Hub, the entrepreneurship and innovation center located in the Getxo Marina. Representatives from the entities that make up the Surfing Towns Network will gather there to work on the current and future development of the project.
The event will highlight, through two main presentations, an example of space management for entrepreneurship in the sector — namely the Getxo Itsas Hub itself, managed by the City Council of Getxo — and an example of a tool for the efficient management and organization of activities at sea, through the participation of the company Bloowatch.
After the presentations, two roundtables will be held for internal work by the Network entities: one focused on monitoring the project itself and another to work on future aspects of the initiative. The meeting and roundtables will be guided by the GOODLIFE consultancy, acting as technical assistance to the City Council of Ribamontán al Mar for the project.
