The Surf, Music and Friends Festival held in Salinas has become one of the must-attend events of the summer, taking place for over 10 years.

This event combines sports practices like surf competitions and the international lifesaving test of the Waterman Challenge with leisure activities such as outdoor concerts, food trucks, markets, night cinema, live demonstrations of shapers making a surfboard, or the sea classroom, where activities are conducted to teach how to care for the oceans through talks, activities, and exhibitions.

It is characterized by being a sustainable festival committed to the environment and ocean conservation. They have initiatives like eliminating single-use plastics, promoting beach clean-up activities, using advertising materials printed on recycled paper with vegetable inks, and using energy from renewable sources.
