A 500-meter-long stretch of fine golden sand, it features a protected dune ecosystem declared a Natural Monument, preserving a large ecosystem that is home to species such as the barrón, which stabilizes the dunes; the sea daffodil or sea thistle, shrubs like strawberry trees or privets, and animals like the rock lizard and various seabirds.

It is equipped with good facilities, parking close to the beach, access via a wooden walkway, showers, lifeguard services, and hospitality.

It has strong waves and is very exposed to northeast winds, making it one of the most popular spots for surfing, suitable for all levels. Multiple peaks with long right and left waves, northwest swell.
