Loredo Beach is located at the eastern end of Somo Beach, on the shore of a small village that gives it its name. This sandy beach, about 1,200 meters long, is fully equipped for a great day at the seaside: fine sand, a peaceful atmosphere, beachfront camping, local hospitality, and a strong surfing tradition. The traditional Loredo Derby, a renowned equestrian competition, is held here.
In front of the beach lies Santa Marina Island, the largest island along the entire Cantabrian coast.
