In 2017, Collective Surfboards revolutionized the national and international surfing scene by establishing one of its first workshops in Loredo. Since then, surfing on a wooden board free from polyester and fiberglass — and respectful of the environment — has become a reality.

Collective Surfboards builds surfboards using innovative designs and materials, crafted through a handmade process. These boards are high quality and more accessible than traditional ones. All of them are made from paulownia wood, which is light, durable, and rot-resistant.

Their shaper, Stefan, is researching new techniques and materials such as 3D printing and natural rubber.
