Barinatxe Beach, also known by its nickname “La Salvaje” (The Wild One), is located between the towns of Sopela and Getxo. Thanks to its strong waves and steep cliffs, it is a perfect spot for surfing and paragliding.
With fine sand and a natural setting, it is the favorite beach among surfers, and likely the best known, as most surf schools in the area operate here. It also has a designated naturist area.
