A small cove about 200 meters long, sheltered from the wind with a rugged landscape, made of dark sand, pebbles, and blocks. Among its sediments, fossil remains and rounded stones are found. This beach has parking, showers, restrooms, an access ramp, and lifeguard service during the summer season; nearby, there is a campsite, dining services, and a surf school with accommodations.
The waves are generally strong but can vary to gentle, making it ideal for both beginner and advanced surfers. The waves form at low tide and are both right and left with multiple variable but powerful peaks and northwest swell. The best season for surfing in Bahínas is during the autumn and winter months, as this is when the waves are larger and more consistent.
