On the occasion of the “2nd Meeting of Good Practices” held in Cantabria, as part of the activity program on “Surf, blue economy and sustainable tourism”, Getxo promoted the first round table on coastal space regulations among the partner municipalities of the Surf Towns Network to which it belongs. Representatives of the municipalities that make up this network debated improvements to the regulations for the touristic and sports use of the coasts, with the participation of around thirty municipal representatives, companies in the sector, and coastal sustainability experts who addressed key issues regarding the management of coastal spaces and the challenges for companies linked to surf tourism.
