The municipality of Carballo is organizing training sessions aimed at entrepreneurs in the surf sector.

The program is free and focuses on four key areas:

• Defining the business model, seeking economic, social and environmental balance.
• Establishing a short-, medium- and long-term business strategy.
• Designing a financial plan that helps understand where, when and how much the company spends and earns, in order to make the most appropriate decisions.
• Managing communication.

The goal of the Surfing Villages Network —funded by European funds and including the Ferrol Region Municipality Association and the municipalities of Carballo (Galicia), Castrillón (Asturias), Ribamontán al Mar (Cantabria) and Getxo (Bizkaia)— is to promote sustainable development through coastal entrepreneurship.

These sessions in Carballo represent another step in the coordinated development of the project.
